Evolving to Meet the Needs of our Neurodivergent Community

Just as people grow and evolve, so do businesses. Fifteen years ago, myturn2talk Psychology was established and focused exclusively on working with children and adolescents in schools and the Doncaster and surrounding community, specialising in ADHD and autism. Over the years, our practice has moved to Ringwood and evolved, and today, we proudly specialise in supporting adults with autism, ADHD, or AuDHD.

Recognising ADHD and Autism in Adults

Historically, ADHD has often been under-recognized in adults and females, primarily only associated with hyperactivity in children. This has led to many adults being undiagnosed or misdiagnosed, and we now know that difficulties related to ADHD persist over the lifespan.

Similarly, autism, especially high-masking autism, has been late to be recognised in adults. High-masking individuals often develop sophisticated coping mechanisms to hide their autistic traits, leading to delayed or missed diagnoses and, with that, a lack of support and accommodation.

At myturn2talk Psychology, we continue serving our Doncaster community in Ringwood. We understand the importance of recognising ADHD and autism across all ages and genders. Our comprehensive assessments are designed to identify ADHD and autism in adults, ensuring that you receive the appropriate diagnosis and support.
